Does anyone have a good reference for these? I'm looking for general purpose contracts, invoice, rights, other forms that can be customized.

Here's a text file of a simple all purpose property release. I don't remember where I got the original (may have been from someone on this board :D ), but I had an attorney friend look at it and reccomend a few changes.

before I created my own contract, I used to use a program call Family Lawyer which had a few business documens in it as well. there is also another site I heard about called www.uslegalforms.com that might be worth a look

Photobyte is a photo business mangement program developed by a photographer. and yes, it's Free! Tom, the author runs a yahoo support group where you can ask him questions. Being a fairly computer savvy guy I'm still having difficulty with the GUI/usability aspect of the program. supposedly if you follow all the guidelines, ie completing all the forms, job estimate, shooting sheet, etc the program creates this wonderful papertrails which is good if you're a commercial shooter. For senior/family portrait type of work the program may be a bit overkill.

Follow the link and download a general simple wedding contract which we use for our business. It is a Word Doc which I DID NOT CREATE so it is a little goofy in design but I think you will find it easy to make unique to your business.

Ok does anyone have a document just for general release and no price quotes, incase a parent would ask?
Just something that says I use the photos for an online portfolio and are not for sale.

Then I guess I could make another incase they actually wanted to buy copies.
