Model releases needed???

I took photos during some Holy Week events at my parish. If I want to use some of these photos on the website I'm building, do I need model releases from all who are easily identifiable? I know it's a really good idea, but are they required? Or is this considered "editorial" use?

I would REEEEEALLLY get a release just to be on the safe side. Raymond told me last weekend about a photographer (in Dallas?) that's being sued for using an image on his site without a release even though the person in question KNEW that he was going to use it before the fact.

You just can't be too careful.

If you can get a release you will always be better off.
If you can't, as long as you aren't depicting the subjects in a negative or disrespectful way you should be OK.
If someone has a problem with the photo you need to pull it ASAP.
I would use them....
