C/C on ad (deadline is today, 4/25) - 04-25-2007, 02:37 PM

I have a relationship with a real estate agent trade publication, and have a full page ad available each month.

The target market is brokers and agents, and I assume most of my business from them will come in the form of headshots.

I had to put this together very quickly, and was looking to get some opinions before I have to send it in.

Comments are greatly appreciated!

Thanks,

Tom

It's Ok. I think your idea of an old high school photo would have been cool.

I kinda like this one for this ad.

Good except I believe seperates is spelled separates..

Big difference between the top and bottom pics and it's unfortunate many real estate agents never update their business cards. In fact, I see some every day where I just want to go "HEY! Get a better photographer..."
Good idea!

Looks good, but check the spelling on "seperate." I believe it's actually SEPARATE.

Thanks--I just found that, and made the changes. Moved things around a tad. You may have to refresh the page to see the changes.

Nice. But take note that a LOT and I mean LOT of real estate agents are women. Both residential and commercial.

Good luck. I hope it scores you some strong business.

I like it but would use a different title. Isn't head shot a colloquial term?

Very true--and realized. I will be switching the photos out every month. Problem is, I didn't have good "old vs new" of women I wanted to use this time--hopefully I'll have a better selection by the next deadline.

Someone brought up a good point--some may confuse the top shot as one of mine. i may need to differentiate it a bit more, without insulting the reader's intelligence.

Yes, but I think real estate agents know it well. At least, the agents I surveyed do.

Good point, though.

The more I think about it, the better I like Rusty's suggestion. "Image" has a double meaning, and is very appropriate.

You da man, Rusty.

I like the last one better. I think it's very good, good luck with it.

Thanks, me too.

For the record, I have contractual rights to use both these images in advertising. I would suggest you always check that kind of stuff before you ever distribute an image of a person living or dead, especially in print.
