Photographing a New Restaurant - 05-16-2007, 07:49 PM

First part of an Assignment:
I have been asked by a new opening restaurant in the DFW area to photograph their opening day party at the end of this month. The restaurant is wanting the images on CD cause they want to use some of the images on their website.
Here is the question- Do I need a model release from the people who's image is going to be used for the website? Or is that the responsibility of the restaurant since I'm giving them the photos? (Not giving but selling the images)
I just don't want to be liable on any wrongdoing since I'm not placing the images on the web it’s the restaurant. Let me know your thoughts.

Second part to this Assignment: The restaurant wants me to photograph some interior shots for their website too. I'm charging $75 an hour (2 hr min), and $50 for each image they want. Is this a reasonable price or too low?

Your thoughts and advice is appreciated.

They are hiring you for the job.. it is their responsibility to get releases for whatever they are going to use the images for...

Your price sounds reasonable to me.
