Need 2nd assistant and P.A., Tues June 5 Dallas, TX

I'm first assisting a successful photog from San Fransisco on Tues and we need a 2nd assistant and Production assistant (female).

All of my assistant contacts were already booked, so this is a great opportunity for someone that wants to be a commercial shooter to see how it all goes down. 2nd assistant with strobe AND Kino and hot lights experience preferred. But if you are smart, fast and willing to learn you might work.

I'm willing to recommend someone from a web board I've never met in person, but I'm not willing to risk my reputation on it. So please PM me only if you are serious and dependable.

The good: It's fun. You'll learn something. You'll be paid at the end of the day. You'll get lunch. You'll make contacts. You'll get to see and operate equipment you may not be an expert at.

The bad: Assistant days are generally 10 hours. Pay is not great. $125 for 2nd, $100 for PA. You may not ever get to touch the camera at all. It's grunt work.
