Does anyone know a good mat cutter in Dallas (preferably East Dallas)? I'm matting and framing a number of prints that are not a standard size opening. I was hoping to find someone other than the chain stores, where I might get a deal for a volume discount.

The only ones I know of are Aaron Brothers but, they are not cheap as they are a chain like you mentioned. The best place to search is online. I know there are some discount ones online the only drawback is it helps to know what you want because you will only get a representation of what it will look like.

I use this one Lisa. Works great if you want to do it yourself!

Thanks Mike. I'd seen this one advertised elsewhere for a lot more. At that price, I'll probably give it a try, as I'm looking to mat and frame about 20 images right now (framed to 16x20 size). Because I didn't want to crop my images, they are not 11x14, so standard size openings won't work. I was planning to order uncut boards in packs of 25 from Light Impressions, unless you know a less expensive source for that as well.

I haven't started buying my mat board online yet, but I do have a few links to checkout.

Thanks - I'll check these out tonight. I have ordered precut ones from the Light Impressions catalog before, so I'll see how these guys stack up to them.
