external hard drives that you move to another building...down to under $100 for 500GB!

My backup archives consist of two for everything. One stays at home, one is offsite.

Thanks for your replies... I guess I thought more people did this... I think I like Jesus' idea due to security issues. It would solve the "what if my studio burned to the ground issue, but that still doesn't solve the hurricane issue... If I have a HD at the studio and one at the house and we get a storm ( which is gonna happen) then what? I would still have to remember to "save the HDs". Online in another place seems safer for something like that... but then I guess the question is "what if FILL IN THE BLANK" happens to them?

I used Mozy for a a little while but they were very slow. My backups can be several gigs sometimes and it would take overnight for less than a gig. That could have been on my end too. I'm never online late at night, but I have heard that Clearwire goes down quite a bit in the wee hours.

You might look into Carbonite. I don't currently use them, but they have been recommended by several "computer" folks. Not a bad deal for $49.95 per year.

I use zenfolio: they are fast, unlimited storage, and you can protect any folder you want. Only $35(with the coupon code) per year, well worth it.

You can use my referral code DXK-66Y-1WR during sign up to save $5 off your own subscription.

I also use Zenfolio. I've been happy with them so far. Only two things I wish. 1) Wish I could sell prints with custom pricing from their site and 2) wish they would allow(support) RAW files to be saved.
