Videographer referal? - 06-13-2007, 04:10 PM

I was approached by the parent of a girl in my daughters class to photograph and take video for an all day "Quinceañera" From what I understand it is something of a Sweet 16 or coming out celebration that is common in the Mexican community. The problem is I don't do video, but the person wants to pay one price for both pictures and video.

Can anyone refer me to a videographer that would basically work as a 'pass through'? The Videographer would quote me his or her price and I would just add that to my price for the photography and pay the videographer directly. I'm still waiting on the details of the event so I can come up with pricing for this.

Thanks,

Cliff

I have indirect advice: make sure your paid fairly and up front. My experience with Quinceañera's has not been particularly thrilling and I learned my lesson, don't expect print sales after the event. Generally they blew all the money on the band and an ugly cake.
