When was the last time you updated. This may be totally illogical, but I swear the software starts acting up every time a new update is available and the update fixes whatever problems you have!

I think you'll be OK, they have a thin candy shell. I'm surprised you didn't know that.

I use Producer and it is definitely a memory hog. Alot will depend upon the machine you are running on. I notice a slow down and I am on a Dual Processor Xeon 3.0 GHz machine with LOTS of RAM.

Make sure you check for updates and next time you run ProShow, close everything else and only run that program.

Ok, that may have been the problem too... i had ps running at the same time! Yikes, didnt think about it being a space hogger! Thanks for all of the great advice, definitely something to think about when I try to burn the disk again.

Rendering video takes alot of memory, if PS was open that was probably the problem.

I am using producer now and it has the same problem. Seems like every time I want to burn a dvd the first thing i have to do is make sure i save all my work, shut down producer and then restart producer and open the show and then immediatly burn the dvd. If I try to burn the dvd after doing some editing it locks up.
