So I am getting a new logo and I just got my concepts today, trying to decide which is the most appealing. Once I select a concept, i can go through and make revisions such as color, font, anything...

Number one makes me think of a hotel.
i like the 4th one best and 3 a close second. I like the simplicity of them. Tough decision.
hope that helps! | | | |

3 or 4... #3 looks more traditional, #4 more contemporary.

Well . . . only 4 and 5 are *black* swans, so I'd reject the others on that basis alone. Of the last two, the swan inside the film frame seems a little small and hard to make out. So I like no. 4. I think the reflection beneath the swan is also a nice touch. What's more, even without reading the words, anyone who sees the image will think "black swan" which is a plus. IMHO.

3 - simple and will be readable as a watermark or embossed logo on photos.

I picked #5 cause as "Cybastean" stated it is only one of two that have the black swan. And I also liked it because of the filmstip effect. I liked that even though it says studio... you instanly know its a photography studio.. not a dance studio.

I was torn between #4 and #5. Like the others, it was the fact that they are black swans. I think both are more elegant than the other 3. I ended up selecting #4 because it had more simplicity than #5 and could probably be used more on things that would be stamped or embossed.

Love #4; all great work, but that one definitely says upper-crust to me.
And I'm with Michael, who is doing your designs? I'm in the market for a new logo myself and love the examples you have here.

I have to break from the pack here and say #2 or #1.
#3 & 4 look to generic to me - like they are clip art.
#1 is close to that feel, but the layout helps show it was designed.
#2 though looks totally original and the pic would make a nice emboss or sticker, and also a great watermark.

I voted for #5 due to the film frame, which tells me immediately that your business is a photography studio, not some other.

#5 is the only logo that clues me into what kind of studio it is. It gets my vote. | | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
