Modeling shots for kid's portfolio - 06-22-2007, 02:41 PM

I have a mom that wants some preliminary shots of her daughter to shop around to different agencies. Her daughter is 2 y.o. One agency asked her for three photos.

If we do a head shot, 3/4 length, and full length will that work for most cases? Also, I saw Brad post that a headshot is supposed to be natural light with a single reflector. Is this true in all cases or would a ring light shot work? Also, based on my preliminary research, I am going to tell mom to dress her daughter in a plain, solid light colored onesy (t-shirt) and a pair of shorts so body type could be determined. Anything that I am missing? I would greatly appreciate input from those of you with experience in this area.

Ring light will work, too.. but for that age, the agency is just happy with any image where they can see the kid's look.
