Also, look into overnightprints.com. Their UV coated cards look nice. I had some issues with the appearance of my first batch, and they reprinted them no questions asked. Second ones looked great.

I used them about 2 years ago, and had good results then, too.

I didn't like the ones I got from MPIX, i thought they were too thin. Also consider vistaprint.com, thats where I usually get mine, and I've been happy with them.

i used mpix and threw all of them in the garbage.

overpriced for crappy cards.

i used americasprinter.com and got like 10 times as many cards at a much higher quality (i paid 40 bucks for a tiny box form mpix, got like 2000 from americasprinter for under $100).

Ok, I was just checking. I usually go with Printsmadeeasy.com or vista prints, but wanted to try Mpix, but I am glad I asked before I did!

Thanks for the help!

I used overnight and was extremely happy with the thickness. I did not get the uv coat though so I can't help you with that part. In fact I have put one in my butt pocket and it left it all day....and it still wasn't bent...that'll pass the test!!!!!!!

Overnight prints here also. I got the two sided with coating and the first batch was just a little dark, they reprinted and shipped the entire order at no cost.

I would use them again.

I have used Overnightprints. There was a problem with the rounded corners cut, so they ended up shipping out a second batch. I have noticed that in the past 4 orders, I always seem to get a few cards that belong to someone else though.

I used Mpix and was very happy with the results. It's a little pricey for a small batch but you get price breaks as you increase the quantity ordered. I'd use them again.

I get several thousand a year from overnightprints and have only had one bad batch - and they re-did them immediately.

vistaprint.com is pretty good too! but they charge extra for UV coated. I ordered my first set from Overnight, and 2nd set from Vista Print. I like Vista Print better.

I used MediaFx for my business cards, no issue, others have like it.
I also used 48hourprint for my post cards that I have sent out this week, 230 of them, no issue with them, so far.

Not to steal this thread but I just wanted to ask...

Has anybody used MPix for their photo book?

I just shot a wedding for my uncle and wanted to print out a photo book for his coffee table.

Any thoughts? Opinions?
