Do you Direct Mail?

I was just at the USPS website looking for info and noticed this info on direct mailing via the USPS along with other info.
I haven't dug through this yet, but it seems like it may provide some benefit in the form of mailing lists and such.

We have used direct mail for almost thirty years. Sometimes we mail to our own list and sometimes we mail to a purchased list. Do you have any specific questions or were you just looking for general information?

My intent was to make the USPS information available to those that, like myself, hadn't thought to look there for information.

I appreciate your adding to this post. I don't have any specific or general questions at this time, but if you don't mind, I wouldn't mind PMing you sometime in the future if I need to pursue direct mailing further.

In the meantime, I'm sure others like yourself have direct mail processes that are effective and have been honed over the years and any information that might help others on the forum avoid any pitfalls you've discovered over the years would be beneficial.
