business name question

The man I spoke to told me that there is a similar but not exact business name registered in TX. My business name is "Picture This Picture That" and the registered one is "Picture This." He told me that the first two words can't be the same, so I can't use my name. What I'm wondering is if there's a way to fix the problem, like adding something before the name. My business partner did that very thing with a business she started several years ago and has never had any trouble with it. Does anyone know if that will work?

My undersanding is that as long as the name is differant then the one that is registered it should be fine. Also it has to be registed in the same county to create a problem.

If my understanding is correct, this may apply if the other business is in the same industry and incorporated.

some guy from a company online that will do a search for you for free. They want to charge me to help me get registered, but I'm not going to use them.
