Senior Stamps - 08-10-2007, 11:11 AM

I was listening to an old podcast yesterday on my lunch walk and I had an idea. You pros may already be doing this, so I doubt it is an original idea to the world, but it was to me.

I'll be taking my son and my nephews senior shots this year. Have any of you thought about offering stamps with your portrait package? You can have pictures added to customized US postage stamps and I think that would be a cool way to send out graduation notices and these photos as they go to relatives. And the senior could mail one to themselves on the day they graduate for the cancellation date.

I'm not sure what the costs are as there are a couple of companies doing these stamps. But for a minor amount of work you can add a little markup for your time and offer a neat addition to your senior package.

Interesting idea... it does cost a bit more than regular postage... but it would be cool, I would think.

I love the concept. Besides I haven't heard of anyone offering this as part of a package!
