Business Card C&C please - 08-15-2007, 06:24 PM

Would you kindly provide feedback on this design. I can't decide if I like it with or without the color splash on the front. All other comments are welcome. Thanks

I like the card without the color splash. I think the splash takes my attention away from what you really want me to see which is your contact info and the pic.

Okay...I looked at this card for two days and never noticed that I typo-ed "Photography" until I posted it. I should fix that before I send it to print huh?

If it doesn't lead the reader to what you do, you don't need it. I agree the color is distracting. Other than that, nice looking car.

No splash, and no typo. :D Don't you hate it when things happen like that?

no splash
something that got me thinking the other day when i was sitting in the hotel bar. A group of business men were complaining that you couldnt write on most business cards due to the uv coating on both sides. they went on that for 40 minutes. and went on about how no one does embossed anymore.

next batch i do is uv on one side or not at all. cuz i hate that I cant write on most peoples cards too.

by all means, put the splash on it!

that way, when people see our business cards together on a bulletin board, they'll pick mine!!

If you like the splash, go with the purple one. It's not as distracting as the blue. Other than that, looks good.

No splash. First thing I noticed was that the splash is distracting. The no-splash card seems cleaner.

OK, let's review:

1) No Splash!
2) I hope my photography is better than my spelling!
3) No splash!
4) Steal BarP's cards from the bulletin board 'cause his cards are kicking my cards a$$!!
5) Oh...and no SPLASH!

Thanks for everyone's comments. I originally designed it with out the color, but my daughters liked the color splash. I agree, no splash.
Thanks again,

Todd
