Biz Card (yes, another) - 08-23-2007, 09:29 AM

So I'm on my last stack of cards and am in need of more. I'm going for simple.
They'll have rounded corners (from overnight prints).

I ran out of room for my email address on the front. :( Do you think I need it there?
My site is on, so they can refer to my site.
Front:

Or I can maybe put it on the long side of the back? I think that would mess
with the simplicity though.
Back:

Thanks :) :)

Christie,

I love the back -- continues the "three" theme, and they're great shots and give a pretty good idea of what you do. I think you don't need the email address, assuming it's linked on your website. The typeface for "Life Depicted" kinda threw me. It took me a couple of tries to decipher the word "Depicted." FWIW.

Christie,

You card is really great. Personally, I do no think you need your email address on your card. You have provided a phone number and your website and that is more than enough to contact you. Do you receive a lot of first contacts from customers through email? If not, then put the email in context. Your phone number and your portfolio on your website are the two most important things needed to market yourself.

Just my opinion.

David

Looks great Christie. I really like the color scheme and I agree with the others on the email. I would add that you keep at least one side of the card in a writable format ( i.e. plain or matte). I hate when I get business cards and can't write a note on them. You have enough white space on the back to add a scheduled date and time and it would be nice to be able to use it.

I personally would find a way to fit the email address on the front.. even if that means putting your name on a new line.. maybe above the info line and left justified.

Also, rethink that font of "Life Depicted" on the front of the card. It is really hard to read, I spent some time trying to figure out what it said.. and the first thing I came up with was "Life Dejected"

It looks good to me Christie...my only cc is that I personally would prefer if the front and the back had the same orientation.

I would worry too much about the email address, but that's just me.

I like it but I think it would look better if you continued the pink swirly theme on the back. Just so the back looks like it belongs with the front.
