No, not that type......
OK, so I have a couple of places I advertise with that send me leads and I get some pretty good hits from my site, but here's my questions:

1. how soon after getting contact info (phone number or email address) do you make contact?

2. how many times do you contact before you give up "chasing the lead"?

3. what's is your preferred first contact method? phone or email?

4. do you call during work hours (I sometimes get cell phone numbers), or do you call after 5pm?

I usually call first within the hour of getting the info and if I don't talk to the person, I leave a message and then follow up with an email. but how long to wait before calling again? I don't want to come across as pushy, but I hate missing opportunities.....

i make contact right after i receive the lead by phone first, and if i miss them by phone, i'll leave a message and send an email, if i talk to them on the phone i'll send a follow-up email recapping what we discussed.

i do call during work hours, if that's when they sent the lead, if not i'll call between 5pm and 7pm - rarely call after 7pm.

number of followup attempts varies based on what kind of feeling i have with the prospective client - not too many to seem pushy but enough to let them know i'm interested....exact number is hard to say, again, it depends on the prospective client.

I'm the opposite.

I contact right away with EMAIL first...Then given a day or two (based on the text of the email) without a reply I'll phone to follow up.

Then I ride them till they buy or get a restraining order. ok not really - thanks for that, Chevy

1. Email leads are sent to the studio and automatically sent to my cell. My first contact is thirty seconds after I get the email.

2. 5

3. Phone... always.

4. The latest I will call is 7pm.
