Anyone up for some logo design help? - 08-31-2007, 07:25 PM

I've read some previous posts on here and thought some of you might be able to help me. I'd love to have some ideas for logos. We are called "Trinity Ridge Photography". Right now we are 99.9% wedding photography, but we are opening up an events side soon. I'm looking for something very upper class and clean and simple - something mostly for branding my photos online and for business cards, etc. ANY help - even suggestions are greatly appreciated. Oh, and here is our website - just in case it's not posted anywhere else. http://www.trinityridge.com THANK YOU ALL IN ADVANCE!!!

Umm...I'm not sure I follow - like three rings or something? (I might be a symbol dense person....I'm realizing. ;)

Youy might check out The Logo Creator; very easy to use and more powerful than it looks at first.

I did this in about 45 sec. with it..nothing special, but you can get pretty fancy with it.

I'm a 20-yr veteran designer and specialist in logo/corporate identity development. I could help you as a paid project, but I can also give you some ideas to work with...

Trinity Ridge Photography

There are three words there, each has many visual possibilities. Trinity could be a Christian symbol, or some representation of 3. Ridge could be a craggy edged shape. Photography could be lots of things, a rectangle, a camera, a circle (lens).

Remember, you don't need a symbol (logo) that employs all three elements. Any one will probably suffice when you add all three words to it. You could even just use the initials TRP as a logo.

At the next level, try combining various visual symbols from two of the words at a time. Trinity & Ridge. Ridge & Photography. Trinity & Photography. Try to come up with 3-5 different visual solutions for each combination. Then again, add all three words to finish it out.

Of course you could also search on Google (images) or Yahoo (images) for "Trinity logo", "Ridge logo", and "Photography logo." You'll get lots of inspiration there - just try not to copy things exactly as you see them. Change the colors, shapes, or typestyles, something to make it your own.

Good luck Trinity...

That Logo Creator program is great! I didn't mess around with your name, but I came up with my logo. It ended up more simplistic than I planned, but it's very clean and professional.
