Business Card - would like feedback please - 09-16-2007, 02:15 PM

I am thinking about ordering some cards so when people ask how to get in touch with me I have something professional looking to give them (I am really new to this). I haven't decided on the website name yet ... so there are two options: annemoorephotography.com or moorethanphotos.com . Would love your feedback on these names too.

Finally, I would like to order 2 sided cards and obviously there will be photos on them - any suggestions on a vendor to use and what finish that will work for showing off photos? Thanks!

All very nice.

I lean towards option #3 with the three overlapping photos; however, if you purchase 2-sided then you can get all the information you would like on any of the 3.
"Moore than photos" is also pretty clever and works in my mind.
Mpix.com prints nice business cards in small quantities.
Good luck.

I like version two Moore than Photos double sided it will be great.

But what is that blurry that looks like a word with a poor eraser used on it. I think I would remove that part. It is on both cards

That is my phone number blurred out - I just didn't want to post it online :)

Thanks for the feedback!

i like 1 and 2, but 3 is too cluttery for my taste. i dislike the overlapping photos, and feel that a cleaner line (all three photos within one rectangle perhaps?) is classier and less hodgepodge looking.

as for web addresses... i think the shorter the better. is annemoore.com taken?

monkeytree.com was taken, and i didn't want to use the word "photography" because it's so long and prone to typos, so i went with www.monkey-tree.com.

moorethanphotos.com leaves room for misinterpretation on behalf of your potential customers... they might hear it and not understand that "moore" is not "more".

that was my concern as well, unless you get both morethanphotos AND moorethanphotos. that way you can have a redirect on the web host to point to the other name if someone types in the wrong one.

annemoore sounds good too, but be careful of the font you use as the two n's tend to look like an "m"

Getting both names was a great idea, but *big surprise* morethanphotos.com is taken as is annemoore.com (I already knew that this was taken). So, it looks like annemoorephotography.com is likely going to be the name because I agree that there will likely be confusion with moorethanphotos.com .

So, what about the cards -- I need more critiques please!
