Do you or don't you?

if you do, where? WeDJ, wedplan, the Knot, someone else?

does it work? will you keep it?

I know a lot of get business from word of mouth, but with more and more people doing more and more online, how many places do they see your name?

My experience is that those that look for a wedding photographer online are usually only interested in who can give them the best deal. If your images are just OK, but your prices are in the cellar you will get a lot of hits. I tried a few paid sites, but now I am only on the free sites and I still get a few hits. In the last five years I can only track one wedding to an online presence. That's just my opinion

I did the WeDJ thing, I get hits but so far, I have not seen any jobs from it. Then again, Im in Brownwood, so YMMV.

I am yet to get ANYTHING from an on-line listing. Then again, I am yet to pay for any of the "plus" ones. I'd rather invest the money on relationship building and samples.

We book over $40k a year from our web ad on The Knot. We pay about $500 per month for the ad.
