Christmas Advertising - 10-26-2007, 12:00 PM

Anyone done Christmas Advertising?? Overnight Prints is giving me 100 free business cards and I thought I come up with a cute ad to get some more families out for Christmas photos. Anyone have any examples of some ads they have done in the past?? Or ideas they would like to share???

Well, since you guys have been overwheliming helpful I'd thought I'd talk to myself on the forum

"Hey Renae, here's a business card I'm using this year, I haven't gotten back from the printer, so I'm not sure how I'm going to like it...we'll have to wait and see. But I'd thought I"d offer you some feedback."

Well, I got $10 off Overnight Prints, so really I just had to pay shipping, so I got 100 cards, so I thought for $10, it would be an interesting marketing project to see if it pays off. Thanks for asking.

Renae, it looks good. I must have been working and missed your original post. I don't see your "offer" and your "call by". You don't give the recipient a reason to call or a deadline. When will you mail these? Who will you mail these to? How did you select that group? How will you track its effectiveness? Why did you select this particular image? All of these things will contribute to the effectiveness of a mail piece. Good luck and let us know the results.
