Folded Greeting Card Pricing - 11-01-2007, 05:31 PM

I have a client interested in folded greeting cards. I have never done them before so was wondering how everyone priced thiers? She wants 50-60 of them to send out at christmas time. I will be designing the layout.

Also, where would be a good place to have them printed?

Thank you for your help!

Have you looked at Overnight Prints' pre-designed Christmas greeting cards? I thought, gee, these are nice when I looked at them in Firefox...then I looked at them in Internet Explorer and there were literally pages and pages of them. I, like you, haven't done the Christmas card thing yet, but am looking to shortly. I'm seriously considering trying them out.

This place has cool cards.

http://www.photoworks.com

MPIX's software for the cards was a nightmare last time we used them for cards. Cards looked good, but OMG! Maybe its been updated since then.

That's funny b/c that's who I was considering using!

But what does everyone charge for their cards? $100 for 50? I have no idea here.
THanks for any help!

If you want to do what the PROs do why don't you give BayPhotoPro.com a try.

mpix is the consumer version of Millers.

Overnightprints is good if you want to get accurate color some of the time.

I hear WHCC does a pretty good job with cards. I'm going to give them try this week.

Thanks, I have checked them all out!

What do you charge your clients for about 50-60 cards? Thanks!
