I could use the same answers. I have four next year and wonder if I've priced correctly. I've only done one two years ago and my clients are well aware of this. I asked them to educate me on each event because I do know they are different depending on their type of faith within the Jewish faith.

I do know that the ones I'm doing do not allow pictures during the ceremony(or pardon for correct terms). You do posed, acted out shots with Rabbi before or after ceremony. You take family portraits before or after (I've only done before). They have parties at all times of the day. I have one where I will be there in the morning for the service in the Temple, then at noon for Dinner and then in the evening for the party and no they will not pay me for the time in-between. This really sucks. I've been wondering how to price these things. I'm doing $150 first hour $125 every hour after that. But I'm not sure I'm convinced with the way the day is structured.

I price a Bar/Bat Mitzvah the same as a wedding. Think about it. Pre-ceremony getting ready and family shots, the ceremony, The formal groups, and the party. Sounds like a wedding to me.
