ok - I searched and didn't find the answer to my question....
"I kinda gave you some free PR/Advertising. Hope you don't mind. If you do,
PLEASE let me know and I will take it off! I am putting together a new
baby/children magazine for the DFW area and a couple of your photos are on
our website WITH your company name attached. I will give you two links to
view. Let me know if this is OK for me to have these on here! Thanks :)"
She wants to use two of my images on a biz site - magazine in the DFW area. I was super-excited about it at first (before seeing the links she sent) and then I saw the links and realized I couldn't make out my logo on the first image (flash slide show) and the second image she was talking about, I had the link, but unless I had the link I couldn't find it if I had been browsing the site normally.....Anywho, she offered to add my logo to the
"capture"...maybe she meant CAPTION and doing a little more research online - unless the images are paid for from a stock site YOU MUST CREDIT the original photographer/artist. Should I trade for some more extensive advertising? This (logo) is far too small to make it obvious to prospective viewers who the artist was. Also, if she does not go for the advertising - how should I ask for credit in the caption for the images?.....one is in a flash slide-show.
