Here are a few different options, I have been playing with this for far too long and would really like to have it be done with. Any constructive criticism would be helpful. Thanks!!

I personally like the last one best.

just my $.02

I would LOSE the blue baby in the first two... LOVE the shot, just not the color balance...

The second card, the middle image has too much head room and lose the blue baby...

The third card middle image has not enough head room...

I very much like the bottom one with the pumpkin... I'd choose that one...

I would suggest that whichever card you go with that you use your domain email.

Thank you so much - this is just the kind of suggestions I need. I don't have my domain email set up yet, thats why I didn't include it on there but that is something i will definitely do.

More suggestions would be greatly appreciated :)

Julie,

If you have your own domain name, why are you using a gmail email address? That doesn't (at least to me) make any sense.

And I like the last one the best. The first card... the 3rd photo on the right looks way blue to me. The whites of his eyes are blue.

Ditto to that. Set up the other account ASAP. It makes me think people are transient if they don't use their company email address - not just photogs. It makes me wonder if they were fired or they don't know how stuff works to set up their email or other bad stuff.

Another vote for the fourth one... but besides the email domain change, change the font to something less stylized and easier to read. The font for your name is fine, but your info should be in a crisp, easy to read font... no room for mis-reads. If they mistype your email from your card, you never receive the email and they never receive a response... and they assume you're no longer in business.

Great tips - thanks you guys! You're right, that one photo is way blue. Sometimes I feel like I'm going crazy when I am working on these things and I just need to hear someone else say it! I heard someone say on another forum that sometimes its better without a picture - so here is a another one I put together (with a little help from the graphic designer husband...lol) based on my website design. What do you think, is this better or should I stick with the photo?

For our business, I prefer a photo. We are photographers... its a visual business... and a striking image will get their attention and keep it.... plus people have a hard time throwing a picture away.

That image just lost all its pop - like the color version better. Maybe a similar version in color?

I really like the fourth card (pumpkin card) in your initial set. If allowed to be nitpicky, though, I'd change the font of the contact information. That, however, might just be a personal preference thing. :)

I love the pumpkin photo. I agree that you should have an e-mail attached to your domain name (which is already better than people using free sites to try to sell photos). I'd also suggest (although I bet you already thought of this) making different cards for different seasons and occasions. Have an Easter card ready a couple months in advance to entice customers to line up at the door.
