I need help with pricing. I would appreciate some feedbacks as to what you would charge.

I have been approached by a friend of a friend who wants me to shoot a family reunion.

They are looking for group photo and do an individual family photo session.

What is a reasonable fee or what would you charge?

You can charge by the hour. Family reunions tend to get squirrelly, where they want to break down the families into different groups as ideas pop up. If you are there by the hour, they are more likely to control themselves and keep things moving.

You're exactly right and that's what I figured.

I'm guessing a group photo and working with individual families will at least take 3 to 4 hours depending on what they will request.

I'm 99% sure the families will ask for more than what they initially request.
