This is a discussion on brides.com? within the Business Talk forums, part of the Business Discussion category; I got a call last week from a guy named chris from brides.com. SINCE then he calls me LITTERALY 12 ...

I got a call last week from a guy named chris from brides.com. SINCE then he calls me LITTERALY 12 times a day! When I call back the number he is calling ME from (What shows on the caller ID) It goes back to Lens Crafters automated messaging system??? Has anyone dealt with this guy or with brides.com? Do a google search for them or go to the site and call their number and ask if this guy is affiliated with them. There are many scams out there, just be careful. CJ |

Thats kind of my gut feeling is he is running a scam. Thats kind of why I posted, #1 to ask if anyone else has delt with them and #2 to kind of warn everyone. My gut usually isnt wrong in situations like this. I believe the rep for this area is named Kionaka Romer. However, brides.com uses callcenter.com for their reps...so it's possible that's why it's going back to a LensCrafter line. If LensCrafter uses them, too... Businesses have had to outsource so much...it's situations like this that really display it...Chris probably works for several companies at one time...and it's probably commission-based...so he's being aggressive. Ive had a listing on brides.com for some time. Ive never even gotten an inquiry from it. the others are probably correct too. Call centers are pretty common for people who cant afford to have a full time receptionist. (or dont want one). Ive considered using one for my business too since I often cant take phone calls during the day. |
