Photo books - binded - 01-10-2008, 02:27 PM

Does anyone know where I can get a photo book professional printed and binded. I had this issue of Shutterbug that recommended a company to do professional binding and printing but I can't find it anymore.

I am looking to maybe print 20-30 pages, get 20 done, hardcover.

Any ideas?

Mpix.com and Blurb.com both provide photo books, hardcover and softcover. I hear the quality varies, though, from mediocre to exceptional.

I have not used either, but Mpix has always given me great customer service, so I would give them first stab.

I have one from Mpix that I ordered just for me. It was nice, but not something that I would offer clients. I got the pearl paper and loved it, though.

I've had some friends get blurb and really liked theirs. I've heard good things about Azuka also.

I have used Lulu for calendars, but only twice, never used them for a photo book.

You may want to take a look at having them done through Apple. I've had a few done with them via the iPhoto function and they turned out well. Very professional. That's if you're on a MAC.

I use York Photo for family 4x6 stuff and made some calenders for Christmas presents there. The calenders were nicely done.

Their turnaround is super fast and the prices are cheap! I saw they also have photo books. I have not tried their books, but you might give 'em a look.
