Judge Joe Brown rules for photographer - 02-29-2008, 04:55 PM

The claimant says they hired a wedding photographer for $200. The photographer says it was $400. The claimant says the photos weren't good. Judge Joe says the photographer gave you a CD with the photos and there was no agreement to do post processing. Judge Joe said "just take this to a good lab and for about $2500 they will make these into good photos." What do you expect when you pay the photographer what you probably tipped the DJ.

ruling for the photographer.

implied - you get what you pay for.

I've noticed a couple of those judge shows have featured low-cost photographers defending themselves. Judge Maria Lopez ruled for a photog, too, because it clearly stated what was expected of her in her contract. I mean, the photos they showed were awful, but at least she covered herself legally. I think her fee was $400 or something.

Glad to see the judges ruling for the photographer. In the past they used to rule in favor of the couple, but I think most photographers are getting smart and getting stuff in writing....
sad that the photographers are so cheap though.....
