Second shooter contract

I looked through all the forums on here and couldn't find one.

II want to get a second shooter contract written up. I could use some help at weddings, but I need an agreement saying that it's ok for me to print, edit and sell my shooters picture if I pay him. And that while he's being payed as a contractor, I'm not responsible if a large bride falls on him and breaks his arm or something.

What do you guys do for second shooters?

I've 2nd shot a few times and have yet to sign a contract.... but I have thought about trying to find one to use for when I get to the point where I start using one...

I've 2nd and 3rd shot before and never had to sign a form. However, I knew the people that I shoot with pretty well and the expectations & role I'll be playing are clear well ahead of the event. When I accept payment to 2nd/3rd shoot, it's understood any images I capture can be used to supplement the lead/main photogs images.
Don Barnes has successfully been in this business for quite some time and is simply full of of so much knowledge. He's in the same area as you. I suggest sending him a PM (bondarnes) as I'm sure he can point you into the right direction to go with this.
I often contact CobyPhoto of Texas City when I get stumped on something as he's also been in the photography business equally as long as Don.

PPA has a form that is free to all PPA members.
