New Sheration Hotel and Spa in Ft. Worth

After many negotiations and disappointments, I finally came to an agreement with Starwood Hotels regarding their need for some local photos of the Ft. Worth area.
They required full and exclusive rights to the images. It seems that such a large international organization would have realized that purchasing images like this can be a bit expensive.
Now they want some specific photos of the new property. They will only allow photographers who are on their "approved" list. So, they will pay someone to fly into town, incur expenses, plus fees, rather than hire a local photographer. Very interesting experience in the commercial photography arena

That is strange unless it's someone the company has used before and, therefore, already have an established relationship.

Hmmm...you would think they'd use stock photos.
