Do any of you use Quicken Home & Business for your company books? At this point, I cannot justify QuickBooks as it has far more than I currently need including the price.

That doesn't make any sense.

I use it, and I love it. I do W-2, 1099 television, and my photography work, and it all works seamlessly. And it integrates into Turbotax at the end of the year pretty well too. If you're doing a day job with photography on the side, I would think it's probably the best option out there for the price.

Thanks, Barry. I think I'll go ahead and get it. I've used Quicken for several years so the H&B version sounds perfect for now.

I also use it Quicken Home Business and it works well.
My dad's business uses QuickBooks, and it is probably a necessity the amount of transactions, accounts, customers, etc he deals with.

I use Quickbooks and yes, it does have more than I need.....right now...
but as I go through the program, I find features that I actually use and the price I got it for at Sam's was a good deal as well

Thanks, guys. I'm going to give H&B a spin for a while until I'm handling a larger load of clients, then I'll migrate to QB. I've heard that CPAs prefer QB files since they can work with them, and I plan to have a CPA eventually.
