Here's the link - it was posted on another forum, but I was wondering if it's for real??? By reading through this, you have to obtain a license to shoot a wedding and/or own a bridal shop in NYC, carry a $5000bond insurance - fines are between $1k- 5K if you're caught w/o one..... http://webdocs.nyccouncil.info/textf...TOKEN=62529383 It just seemed silly to just single out ONE industry like that - not all photographers, not all artists, not say a tux only shop..... just curious if anyone else knew anything about this. I would hate to see such things in effect for any other large cities across the country. I mean, i carry insurance and have a good wedding contract, pay my pro memberships to organizations - but to do this too?? --------------------------- Don't waste time, it's the stuff life is made of! |
