Business card size - 06-03-2008, 10:10 AM

Hello, I want to make a business card and it seems like I Had a template that allowed me to do it in photoshop....Does anyone have suggestions on how to make my business card as far as designing it and saving it on my computer? Some days the bulb is on and some days I think it fell out!

Tammie, I would search business cards (top right of this page) and you will get all the different companies that different people recommend. I would say most of them should have a template for you. I know Overnight Prints does..that's who I use.

If you go to Avery.com you can download Photoshop templates for all their products.

YOu have to look around a little bit - every time I tell someone I have to search to find the link but it's there!!

Also, WHCC has templates on their website, so I assume most printers do also.

HTH

OvernightPrints.com. I wouldn't use anyone else for business cards. They're simply awesome.

I use www.fullcolor.com for my business cards. They are my primary lab and they do a great job on my business cards as well. Their website is really easy to use and gives you all the specs. I hope that's helpful.

How about just creating a new image - size 2"x3.5" ?

Make sure you have 3/16" margin between anything you want on the card, and the edge of the card (if you're going thermographic)...

If you're going 4-color - you can go edge to edge...

:)
