And to think I was all excited today when I filled out a form today to start my own little photography business. It just seems like all BS hassle now. I guess I'll stick to Wildlife and Landscapes. Don't need a release from them LOL.

When it came to minor children, I always asked permission from parents to use the photos. Photographing people isn't just about taking photos with people in them ... it's about relationships, even if they are fleeting and cursory. When you build those relationships, you sometimes can have some business come your way too. Plus, as most in editorial know, if you don't have the names, the picture isn't worth as much when your writing the cut line.
