Question C&C: Newest Business Card - 07-12-2008, 06:55 PM

After rebranding my entire business (well, it's still kinda in progress), here's the newest business card front & back. C&C welcome!

And by the way, that photo is of me and Julie and was taken by the AWESOME Leslie Spurlock!

I'm a believer in photos on a business card, but for a photo business I think a photo you've taken rather than a photo of you would be more effective (0.2 cents).

Otherwise, it's a pretty card. Not "manly," but the assumption is that your target is mostly women anyhow. If it fits your new direction, cool!

Todd,

I've always had the "manly" branding and now I'm reversing that. I have NEVER had a man call about wedding photography. Never. Therefore, I am trying to appeal to a predominantly female client. And the point of having a photo of me and my wife on the card is for client familiarity. I'm not trying to show off my work on my business card (any longer)... because that's what my website is for.

I just hope the new "direction" continues to improve business. So far, I think it has.

Thanks for you reply!

I'm on the other side of the coin....I prefer not using a photo on a card. But, since you are trying to reach a different clientele (sp), I guess a photo would be effective. It's a bit busy for my tastes, but all and all I like it and good luck!
