Which Logo Please - 08-04-2008, 10:45 PM

Which of these two Signatures is more appealing to the eye. The one where the word Photography is contained within the signature or the one that extends beyond it. Any comments appreciated.

THANKS!

Terry

Can you go somewhere in the middle on the point size of photography? It's a little too big on the first logo and a little too small on the second. If you're choosing between these two I like the second more, it's a bit more subtle.

Is this more balanced than the first two?

Hey Terry!

I would like to see your name a little "bolder" or darker than photography. Just my 2 cents. It looks good!

I can't make the name font bolder, but I could lighten the word photography. Maybe a dark gray. Perhaps that would work.

What you have done so far looks real professional. I don't know if gray is the answer. In my opinion, you are 'branding' your name. Not so much what you do. You really want people to recognize your name. Hopefully, someone with a graphic design or marketing background will chime in and post something helpful.

I dont' think you would go wrong with what you have.

I personally like the smaller Photography. But they are all nice. Even the grey.

I'd keep "photography" at 100 percent black, but can you try one where you've moved it up until part of your name just overlaps it a bit? I tend to like to see some connection between the words and different fonts.

What, you couldn't read my mind? :-)

I like "photography" in black, maybe a tad smaller, and behind the Y in Terry. My thought was to have the flourish in the "N" just brush over the word. But really, it's more important what you like the best. We're starting to sound like pesky clients!

Try to tighten-up the word space between the y and T and see what that looks like.
