TX sales and use permit frame? - 09-09-2008, 12:52 AM

I see these all over the place in small businesses--an 8 1/2" x 4" frame for the TX tax permit that's supposed to be displayed in your place of business.

I can't find one anywhere on the internet, though. Does anyone know where to get one?

Thanks!!

I just picked up a cheap 8x10 frame and used white paper behind the tax permit. Not really worried about it looking pretty.

Try Office Depot, Staples or Office Max. I seem to remember them having a specific frame for this.

Of corse, the plain, El-Cheapo 8x10 is fine too. Just center it on a peice of white paper and be done with it.

Oh, and make it portable. If you do sales on location, you are required to have the certificate (or a copy of the certificate) with you at the location you are conducting sales. Example: Onsite printing and sales of Sports image. Even if you have a location, if you are conducting sales at a specific location for an event you must have the certificate displayed.

Or, as in the case of simply having a display booth at the fair, or such, even if no sales are going to be made on the scene. Every year the comptroller comes by booths at the fair. You better have a certificate, whether selling, or displaying.
