I did go for it, when I was 22.

• Have a family to support.

Hey, what happened to working smarter, not harder? I wasted 25 years killing myself when it wasn't necessary. I always wondered why those old guys looked so amused when I thought they should be amazed.

Or if I shared the photos I have taken of the aftermath of car wrecks, drownings, fires, murder scenes, etc. etc. etc. it starts to look less glamorous. But for me it was always about telling a story, maybe ones not as important in scope as the events of 9/11, but important in their own way.
