I just received a book from MyCanvas through Smug Mug.
The print quality is ok. If you look real close you can see the low-ish DPI. Not like a real photo, but it's good enough for people who don't know better. I wouldn't be happy selling it to a client for as much as I'd have to mark it up. Fortunately this was just a gift for somone.
I got the hard cover leather bound, and it's soft, sweet-smelling leather. The stitch binding is visible, but not annoying.

The book was disappointingly thin for 25 pages, but I guess that's the way it is. I wonder if their $350 'premium' books are much different.
Because the price lists are public, and their website and logo are on the last page, I'm not sure if they intend for them to be sold by photographers to clients. Perhaps its more of a DIY for P&S'rs.
The book designing software is great though. Myriad options available.
I want to try Asuka, and I'm going to check out Miller now.
