Replacement Cost - do you just look up the price of what your gear is currently listed as?

I assume I should take photos of everything too along with the serial numbers of stuff that has it....

Replacement cost would be what it would cost to replace an item with a like item. It might be a new replacement, but many times the item is no longer manufactured and the replacement would be a used item in the same condition. Serial numbers are important and photos could help if you want to go to the effort.

thanks Don for the response. Yeah, I guess I'll take pictures of all the stuff (that's what we do anyways right? ;)

So for the PPA paperwork I'm filling out, under Equipment Schedule, there is purchase price and replacement cost. I will look back at receipts for what I paid for the items, and I guess look at Adorama or whatever for the current price of the same item if it is still available for the replacement cost? If they don't make the item anymore, just pick whatever is the closest and put that price down?

thanks!
