Old movies to DVD's? - 12-05-2008, 05:21 PM

A client asked us if we could convert some old home movies into DVD's for her....I said we don't typically do this but would look into it for them.

Can anyone recommend someone in the N.Dallas, Plano, Richardson area?

Thanks.

I remember converting old 8mm to VHS BITD.... we tried one of those little mirror/lens coversion boxes...then discovered it was much easier to just set up vid-cam right next to projector and record right off the projection screen or wall!

Depend on format, you can grab a standalone DVD writer for pretty cheap now, hook it up with a VCR / Betamax & you are good to go.
