I think I found it
The balance of each order, minus any chargebacks that may be due to ExposureManager for prior orders and/or other dues by photographer to ExposureManager, will be forwarded to the Photographer in a monthly check no later than forty-five (45) days after the order has been shipped to the customer. ExposureManager's current practice is to mail payment by check of all amounts due to Photographer between the 5th and 10th business day of the current month for all completed transactions occurred on the previous calendar month if the amount due is at least one hundred (100) U.S. dollars. Each quarter ExposureManager will pay out balances of completed transactions equal to, or higher than, twenty-five (25) U.S. Dollars

This is the controversial change.

Quote:
As of January 1 2009, the minimum payment we will make to a photographer on their account is $100.

If a sales balance is not sufficient to warrant a minimum payment, the balance will be carried forward to subsequent monthly pay periods.

We do not wish to hold a photographer's commission balance for an undue amount of time, and we will offer the following options for payouts of less than the $100 minimum:

Once every quarter, we will pay out ALL commission checks, no matter what the balance. This will be on a set schedule:
The first weeks of April, July, October, January (of each year, commencing with with April 2009)
For a fee of $3.50, we will process a monthly payment check below the $100 minimum balance.
(Note: Due to the number of payments we process, ALL payments to photographers must be made as part of the regular monthly payment cycle, without exception.)
Optional Minimum balance options:

Photographers have the option to go into their payment settings and putting in a HIGHER minimum balance amount, if they want to only receive checks that are higher than the standard $100 minimum. (For example, you are going out of town over the Summer, and up your minimum payment to a significantly higher amount, thus creating the net effect of having us hold your checks until you come back and reset the minimum balance.)

I still use them and will probably stay, even though I am tired of their archaic setup and backend.
The payment change is merely a lower limit of $100 for them to cut a check, instead of $25 or whatever it used to be. Makes sense for them as a business standpoint, and most other places like that and stock companies do the same.

I'll stay with them . I will take care of my own printing of items I post, with the exception of proms or other parties. Those get to be so helter skelter I can't keep up with who wants what.

It may be good business sense for them but I'm not happy with it. I guess if you have a small order get mixed in with largers orders for the month it's better not to use them for small orders depending on when each were sent in. Oh well, I vented and learned a lesson.

Seems I remember if I sold something on say the 20th and then the next month I would get a check as long as the order shipped by the cutoff date they cut checks on the 10th of the following month. If I am reading this right now I have to wait till 45 days after the order ships that is what I think sucks I can deal with the 100 dollar minimum
ok I vented too now I feel like Roy

They should just use direct deposit such as Photoreflect uses. This is a proven
cost reduction method....
