Birthday Club - 02-11-2009, 03:25 PM

I am thinking about putting together a birthday package for children's first 12 years or so and making an album out of it. Anyone done anything like this? I am having trouble piecing it together in my mind. Thanks for any tips and such!

I put a package together a while back but didn't get any takers (at least not yet). I only included 1st 5 years but also included 3,6 and 9 month sessions, for a total of 8 sessions. I think 12 years is a long committment IMO.

I like the concept but five and twelve years is a long commitment in this day. Maybe a three year package with two year extensions option at a guarantee discount percentage off your rate at the time of the extension is signed. Say 20% off current rates. I think that gives the client the option to keep coming back but without the long term commitment. So if client hasn't been transferred to India and you have not moved to the other side of Texas then it gives you the opportunity to establish a long term relationship.

I like the idea of 3, 6, and 9 month sessions.

Anyway, cool concepts guys.

Starting out with a 1-year plan might be the way to go, and then offering happy clients the option to continue each year.

I have a few newborn sessions coming up. I think I will offer them baby's first year in an album and go from there. I don't want to introduce too much at once.
Thanks everyone!
