Creating Signatures and Watermarks

What software do you use to create your signature and watermarks? I want to design my own but don't know where to start. Thanks for any help you can provide.

Adobe Illustrator is what I used. Took a little while to figure out how to get what I wanted, but eventually I did. You can see my logo on my website link in my sig.

Jessica, I created mine in Photoshop (saved that file). When I want to add it to an image, i just copy the layer of the watermark over to the image - all in Photoshop (here is an example: http://www.texasphotoforum.com/galle...58&ppuser=3904)

Awesome, thank you all for your help. I paid someone to make one for me and it wasn't that great. I have my own ideas and think I could make it better:) I will give it a try.
