Looking to possibly hire an intern

Looking to possibly hire an intern for the summer to help around the studio with stuff that we sometimes we feel like we don't have enough time to do or assist on shoots every now and then. We focus 95% on weddings and 5% on kids portraits. Anyone know of maybe a college student majoring in photography or anyone who would be interested in something like this? Still not sure but feeling it all out right now.

You might want to contact the Art Institute and some of the Dallas area colleges that have photography programs. They can probably post something on a bulletin board or their website. I have had pretty good luck with interns. Only one dud out of about ten.

Also PPA has a student section on their website. I posted there a few years back and got a couple of responses.

I'm an art direction student, learning about photography more could really help me, plus I will need some kind of job for the summer, will this be a paying internship?

As of right now it is an unpaid internship for about 10-12 hours a week. Really want someone who is wanting to do photography and looking at it as a growing experience. Will definitely look into art schools and area colleges. :)
