Shot home for architect.
Gave full use of photos to architect and personal use to homeowner.
Homeowner is now selling house.
Homeowner wants to use pics in MLS listing.

Charge for this or just let it go?
If charge, any idea how much?

personal use to homeowner
Did the homeowner understand what this meant? Most people are clueless about this stuff. If you had a contract and the homeowner clearly knows that they are doing a no no, bill them. It's a big pain to go legal on them. Not worth it IMHO.

Y'all are not reading the post.
The homeowner WANTS to use the pix.

Charge him $100 and tell him it's a good deal.

My bad. If indeed he is asking for usage rights then I agree with Tom.

Ya, sorry for any confusion.
The homeowner is actually asking the architect how much the photographer would charge for him to use them. The architect emailed me.

I'm not one to turn down money, but I want to do what's right and wouldn't mind letting it go to be in further good standing with the architect (even though that's not really the issue here).

I was also thinking maybe something along the lines of $100 if it's better that I charge the homeowner something.

Sounds like the homeowner is indeed sophisticated enough to understand that just like the architect, your talent has worth. The architect should also understand this and you should remain in good standing.
