Don...the charger is a different one...smaller...for the D40....Roy I would tell you try Target or Wolf/Ritz...they should have generic chargers for that camera...heck..try Radio Shack...too...I would call them not spend the time running around... I need a Nikon charger for i can get warrenty work done. Thanks lokerd but i was kinda hoping to find one in town, if not i send a pm to ya. |

I have a D300 and needed a battery charger, and dropped by Radio Shack, who had them for like $4. |
