WTB: film slr equipment (minolta x-series and maxxum series), flashes mainly - 09-19-2009, 03:20 PM

So my last post went the way of the dodo without a respsonse so I figure I would try again. I'm looking for flash units that will work with my x-series and maxxum series minoltas (different mounts). I might also be interested in glass for minolta maxxums, mainly primes (50mm, 35mm, 85mm) and maybe a zoom lens, but I'm probably too broke to them... I am looking for mamiya 1000 series glass and flash units also. If anybody has anything please let me know, not having a flash is killing me!

Any Minolta AF camera can use almost any Minolta or Sony AF lens (A-mount). The only exceptions would be some of the older film cameras only have 5 lens contact pins and cannot use SSM or SAM lenses.

I know, but there is no way I can afford newer lenses at the moment. I'm mainly hoping to find an older maxxum lens that somebody isn't (or can't) use or an even older 35mm or 85mm manual minolta prime lens. Seeing that I already have a bunch of glass though I am really hoping to find some old flashes that can work with these cameras.

The problem is even the original AF 35mm and 85mm Minoltas still sell for big money.

Thats why I threw in glass as an afterthought and said i was most likely to broke to afford them, it never hurts to ask though. I mainly want to grab flashes. I'm hoping somebody has some manual primes, i love my 50 1.4 but i really wanna play with a 35 or 85

Here's the deal.
I have a bunch of Minolta lenses that are all manual focus.
They were used on XD 7 and 11 bodies.
I have a couple of auto winders for those bodies.
I have the camera bodies.

If I remember correctly, I have Vivitar Series 1 70-200 macro
35 f3.5, 500mm mirror lens, 50mm f1.8
and a fisheye of some sort.

I think the flashes all got wrecked over the years.

If you are interested let me know and I'll get the exact details.
Just did TPPA all day and shot a high school dance tonight, I am tuckered out.

I am very interested! Sucks to hear about the flashes, my daughter wanted to see if mine would bounce on the tile I guess, so they now no longer work :(. Please send me some details whenever you get a chance.

I have a minolta motor drive 1 that i share between my bodies right now (the 1 is pretty nice, 3.5 frames a second i think). I'll find out what my broke ass can afford when Tom gets back.

I have Wein Micro Slave L8 and a Wein L.A.C.A. that I would sell both for $11 shipped.

Plus a Maxxum flash 5200i with new batteries and the original case. Great Condition for $30 shipped.
